Perfect Pitch 2026

Perfect Pitch is a music business challenge built around real cases from the music industry. We’re running it together with TUM Business Game, so it combines their experience with case competitions and our corner of music and technology.

Over one weekend, mixed teams take on cases from industry partners, work through them in focused sprints and pitch their solutions to experts from the industry and academia.

Who should apply

Engineers, strategists, entrepreneurs, musicians and creatives. The cases are built for teams where different backgrounds meet, so whatever you bring is useful:

• Business: build a career-ready case with real stakes.
• STEM: bring data and product thinking to a problem that matters.
• Music: connect the creative side with how decisions get made in the industry.

You’ll meet students from very different fields, swap perspectives and come away with ideas for where music is heading.

How it works

1. Apply by Saturday, October 31. It’s one form.
2. Compete in 3 to 4 hour sprints on live cases from our partners.
3. Pitch your solution to experts from the industry and academia.

Who’s behind it

TUM Business Game runs a two-day case competition that brings students together with industry partners to work on real challenges across disciplines. Munich Music Labs is a student club for music and technology accredited at TUM, with 60+ members working on research, artistic projects and new ideas. Perfect Pitch is what happens when the two meet.
